It was a low scoring game in the first half of this much anticipated match up. The Texans lost a great opportunity when they coughed up a fumble at the Chiefs goal line at the end of the 1st quarter. As the half came to an end, the Chiefs scored the first TD of the game but missed the extra point to take a 9-3 lead into the locker room. At the start of the third quarter both teams scored touchdowns on their opening drives. The Texans were able to add a field goal at the end of the 3rd quarter to bring the score to 13-16. But this was s close as the Texans would get. The 4th quarter was all Chiefs as they scored two touchdowns and added a field goal late in the quarter. A dominant performance as the Chiefs took the win 33-13 at Arrowhead.
